He served as an Inspector of Taxes with the Revenue for eight years, and was formerly a Senior Tax Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers. Brian is a member of the Council of the Institute of the Certified Public Accountants and a member of TALC (the liaison committee between tax consultants and the Revenue). He is also the editor of the Irish Taxation Institute’s book on Capital Allowances and lectures extensively on taxation for professional bodies and to business people. Brian specialises in advising on the purchase and sale of businesses and structuring tax based ventures. He worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers for six years, working in the audit department for three years before moving to the tax department in 1990. He has advised clients on providing venture capital for investment in both indigenous and international start up companies, and has extensive experience in structuring property investments in Ireland and abroad. Eugene also specialises in giving corporate tax advice to Irish based companies and providing personal tax and wealth management advice to high net worth individuals.        Jane O’Hanlon BCL ACA AITI        Value Added Tax        Stamp Duty        Inward Investments        Jane is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Irish Taxation Institute. She was previously employed as a tax associate director with KPMG where she worked for six years. She also worked as a group tax accountant in Fexco prior to joining Purcell McQuillan. She has experience in advising Irish based companies and high net worth individuals. Maria Doherty AAF MBS ACA AITI          Property Investment Structuring          Business Development Services          Maria is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Irish Taxation Institute. She worked as a tax manager with KPMG before joining Purcell McQuillan. Maria advises on property investment and development.        Eimear McArdle BA AITI        Company Acquisitions and Reorganisations        Gift & Inheritance Tax Planning        Eimear is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute. She previously worked with Ernst & Young specialising in personal tax. Eimear advises on gift and inheritance tax planning.               Pat O'Brien BSc MACC ACA AITI        Capital Gains Tax Planning        Revenue Audits & Investigations        Corporate Tax Planning        Pat is a member of both the Irish Taxation Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Pat having trained in KPMG specialises in capital gains tax planning and Revenue Audits.        Alison van Dalen FCCA AITI        Personal Tax Planning        Compliance Services        Alison is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute and is a Certified Accountant. She joined Purcell McQuillan in 2001. Alison also lectures in accounting. Alison specialises in income tax compliance services.
